# Privacy Policy — Daily Beat

_Last updated: 12 September 2026_

**Daily Beat does not collect any data.**

There are no accounts, no network connection, no analytics, no advertising and no
tracking of any kind. The app contains no third-party SDKs. Nothing you do in it is
sent anywhere, because it has nowhere to send it.

## What is stored

The beats you make are saved as files inside the app's own storage on your device —
one small file per day. That is everything the app stores.

## Sharing a video

When you share a day, the app makes a short video of it on your device and hands it to
the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there — a post, a message, your photo library —
is your choice, made in iOS, and the app is not told. The video is a temporary file
that iOS clears away.

If you choose Save Video, iOS asks whether Daily Beat may add to your photo library.
That permission only lets it add; it cannot see anything already there.

## Backups

If you have iPhone backups switched on, whether to iCloud or to a computer, your
beats are included in them the same way other app data is. That backup is between
you and Apple. The developer has no access to it.

## Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything it stored.

## Children

Nothing is collected from anyone, of any age.

## Changes

If any of the above ever stops being true, this page will be updated before the
change ships.
